Our vision is to make healthy eating a creative process. Each one of us have the power to inspire and encourage each other. With the help of connections and creativity we can have better relationship with our health.
We all are naturally creative whether we realise it or not. The way we cook, the way we dress up, the way we keep our house, surroundings is nothing but creativity. Drama add the element of fun in the way we choose to eat or behave. Enacting our feelings release them and we visualise possible changes. Concretizing the desired changes initiate a new behaviour.
We at Nutri-Drama are experimenting with different creative approaches to engage people with our work. Poetry, painting, cooking, singing, writing scripts, dancing, rangoli making, flower arrangements, interior decoration, photography. Creativity is unlimited and artistic expression can easily bring about behaviour change. We also encourage everyone to share stories to help self and others to make progress.
Nutri-Drama is not conventional method used to improve health. It focuses on expression with creativity. Creativity does not require a person to have any artistic ability. Being engaged in creative work channel thoughts and emotions through artistic expression. It releases stress, help a person understand themselves better, build relationships with enhanced social skills, gives a sense of achievement, develops emotional strength, better self-confidence and relaxes a person. Our founder has published a book with 10 Co-authors who worked together in series of Nutri-Drama workshops. Book talks about the behaviour changes each participants experienced after workshops.
The force for which there exists no resistance, the power to which we all can surrender, the power of what truly matters is within us.
