Our relationship with food is old as old as we are and drama dates back to the very birth of form. Drama is as old as origin of language. Any conversation is simply a drama between two or more individuals. Yogic culture also has emphasised story and drama: The story of union of Shiv and Shakti is also explained with help of Drama. Guru Nanak has also beautifully said this:

Our every food choice, our every action is oriented in our emotions. Why we eat what we eat has lot to do with not only our physical state but also mental state. The way we cook food is influenced by our choices. When we cook our own meals we take the power to build our health in our own hands. I have always cooked my food. Its therapeutic, empowering and a very creative process. There are so many varied foods available to us and we can cook them into beautiful recipes. Cooking is about mixing ingredients, creating new flavours, disguising few flavours, keeping them hidden while still being present. It’s a creative art. We can create what we want to eat using healthy ingredients and healthy cooking methods.
I am neither a counsellor nor a psychologist. I am simply a nutritionist who wholeheartedly trust that the magic of creativity can be a healing touch in our health stories.
